Halloween + STEAM
From costume parties to parades and pumpkin carving, there are seemingly endless activities for kids. However, if you’re looking to change things up just a bit from the usual candy-induced, hayride mayhem that can be the Halloween season, drop into one of our Halloween 3D Printing workshops. No sugar added.
How to 3D print your own Jack-O-Lantern
Each student will receive a computer with a 3D model of a pumpkin similar to THIS. Then, by using a program called TinkerCAD, an instructor will show participants how to customize, digitally carve and 3D print their own Jack-O-Lantern utilizing shapes and creating negative space. Each participant will take away 3D printed Jack-O-Lantern that they customized. Models are printed out of PLA plastic, which is plant-based and biodegradable.

We hope you can join us at the DAE for one of these Halloween 3D Printing workshops. Sign up or learn more below.
Please note that due to 3D print times, you may have to either pick up the Jack-O-Lantern later in the day or within a few days.
