Your Safety at The DAEAugust 2020 / In Person Classes and Workshops
Our goal at The DAE has always been to provide fun and engaging experiences to your children and teens. With the current situation at hand, we surveyed a large pool of parents to find out what offerings you and your child would be comfortable in participating in. The offering with the most interest was outdoor classes!
Providing DAE classes in a post-COVID world requires that we take our guests’ safety even more seriously by implementing every possible precaution. To ensure your child’s’ safety, even while outside The Digital Arts Experience, we’ve implemented the following precautions:
Small Class Sizes – We have always kept our classes small, no more than 8 students in a class. For our outdoor classes and workshops, they will be firmly capped at 6 students.
Clean Equipment – All computer tables, laptops, mice, keyboards, stools etc. will be thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Alternatively, if you would like to bring your own laptop, you are welcome to do so.
Mask-Up! – Students, and DAE staff are required to wear masks. Please bring your own mask and have it on before you enter the tent. If you do not have one, we will happily provide you with one. We also have gloves available.
Hand-washing – We have plenty of hand sanitizer, and everyone will be asked to clean their hands before each workshop or class.
Distanced Workstations – Under the outdoor tent, we’ve measured out the proper spacing so each student will be 6-feet apart.
Restrooms – One student at a time may enter The DAE building to use the restroom. The restroom will be cleaned before and after each use.
It is our goal to err on the side of caution during these challenging times. If you have any questions about our precautions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Still concerned about being around others? Consider a private lesson, a gaming session, or online Saturday classes!
